Do you remember the award winning M*A*S*H. The show that lasted nearly four times as long as the war it was about, as well as one of the few cases in which a critically acclaimed film was successfully adapted into a critically acclaimed television series, the military comedy drama M*A*S*H ran for 11 seasons, ending with one of the most watched events in the history of the medium.

The series was a medical drama/black comedy produced by 20th Television Fox for CBS. The show followed a team of doctors and support staff stationed at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in Uijeongbu, South Korea, during the Korean War. M*A*S*H's title sequence featured an instrumental version of the song 'Suicide Is Painless,' which also appears in the original film.

M*A*S*H featured Alan Alda, Loretta Swit, Harry Morgan, and Jamie Farr.
