On 21st May 2008, fifty years after the Munich air disaster, Manchester United beat Chelsea in the 2008 UEFA Champions League Final and were crowned Champions of Europe for the third time in their history. The team was led up to collect the trophy by Sir Bobby Charlton. Now, one year on, Manchester United will play Barcelona in the Champions League Final in Rome on 27 May 2009.
