Quantum of Solace is the 22nd James Bond film by EON Productions, due for release in the United Kingdom on 31 October 2008 and in North America on 7 November. The sequel to Casino Royale, it is directed by Marc Forster, and features Daniel Craig's second performance as James Bond 007. It is based on Ian Fleming's short story 'Quantum of Solace' that was originally published in For Your Eyes Only (the short story collection) 1960.
