So what about it? Well, it's highly flexible and packs most of the features one would expect in a quality SLR camera. The built-in menus with their 27 individual modesare very simple to use. The buttons are very well built and the mode dial on the top is easy to use. However the selector wheel is easily dislodged but easily solved by turning back to th selected mode.LCD screen also shows which mode you are in when you turn the dial. The powerful compact zoom coupled with the 25mm wide angle lens makes this a fantastic pop in your pocket camera for portrait, action and landscape shots. The Leica lens makes a massive difference in photo quality even when used at the lower pixel levels. The LCD screen is "crystal sharp" in both photo and playback modes. Bigest difference however is in the simplicity and quality of video recording. The quality of HD videos when played back through a HD TV is fantantastic and worth the extra cost in itself.
I also suggest you purchase the dedicated TZ7 camera case to protect this little gem of a camera.
